‘Thank you for your supportive feedback today. In my time at Brighton University, you have been a shining example of excellence regarding module content, delivery and humility in support of our questions. It is the first module that I have attended that has had such impact. This is down to you, your style of approach and attention to the need of your cohort. Your passion for the subject is infectious’. Martyn – Leadership and Service Improvement.

“Excellent knowledge of the Lecturer who comes across as very inspirational and open-minded and offers a great level of support tailored to individual student’s needs. Overall, a fantastic experience”.
"A brilliant supportive environment, a great group of people. Deborah was really approachable, took time to explain if things were difficult. Lots of useful resources".
"I have thoroughly enjoyed the course. Deborah has been great. The course has been interactive, practical and very interactive. Thanks Deborah you’re a great Lecturer".
“This module is very relevant to my practice in the community, and I have found every session interesting, interactive and informative. The topics covered have already made a difference to my working practice and I have started to use a much more holistic approach in discussions with the patients I see and feel I am much more engaged in listening to them. Health education is a big part of my role, and I feel I have gained more knowledge and confidence since discussing and exploring this within the module.
A well-structured module. Deborah is very approachable”.

Colleague feedback:
Deborah's style of delivery was engaging and challenging, looking to explore ideas and encouraging students to develop some of their discussions. Use of resources was well managed ensuring maximum student learning. Supportive reading was provided to students. The session was concluded with an explanation of the final days work and Deborah offered tutorial support to those that wished to remain behind following the session. This Deborah did for several students.
Deborah demonstrates confidence in her teaching style and engaging with the cohort to allow issues and situations to be explored and discussed. Insightful perspectives provided which helped conceptualise the work. As a participant observer, I found this a most illuminating session, very well managed and delivered. Dr GB, Senior Lecturer, University of Brighton.
