Social Campaigner
I am passionate about communicating ideas that ignite positive change. My work focuses on raising awareness, encouraging dialogue, and inspiring action on critical issues, especially in healthcare, education, leadership development and social justice. Through knowledge-sharing and the promotion of innovative solutions, I strive to create meaningful, lasting impact for individuals, organisations and communities alike.
2025: Working alongside CEO Ian Sutherland McCook, to build networks and communications in support of the UK’s Homeless: Sheltersuit UK
2024-2025: Member of the Beacon Parish PCC Committee.
2022-2023: Trustee of the Mid-Sussex Charity Befriended.
2019-2023: Member of the Soroptomists working on projects for the empowerment of women and girls internationally.
2019-2021: Director of The Creative Design Place. A PR brand for the promotion and communication of green, sustainable and positive causes.
2004-2010, Creative Director of online magazine and ethical lifestyle brand EcoChic. Recognised by The Guardian Newspaper in 2010 as ‘one of the world’s top twenty green websites’ for designing impactful articles and e-books featured in our online magazine and online store; all dedicated to promoting ethical fashion brands, charities, and environmental initiatives.
Built and led a talented team of freelancers and interns who contributed regularly to e-books and feature content, reaching a peak monthly readership in the thousands.
Successfully elevated client brand visibility through strategic online exposure and content-driven campaigns.
Developed skills in digital communication, SEO, social media strategy, video content creation, and marketing.
Recognised as a runner-up in the University of Brighton Research and Innovation Awards, 2009.
